Physical Therapy
If you need physical therapy, consider the Wisconsin Performance Institute. Our movement experts use state-of-the-art Noraxon technology to pinpoint and correct movement issues, resulting in improved range of motion and more powerful movements with less pain. We’ll help you return from injury, optimize your movement, and perform at the highest level.
What does that mean?
- If you’re a runner, it means a more efficient stride and fewer physical breakdowns.
- If you’re a golfer, it means hitting the ball farther without hurting your back, wrists, or elbows.
- And if you’re someone who likes being active, it means maintaining a higher activity level longer.
Whether you’re recovering from an injury or dealing with the stresses and strains of age, the WPI can speed your return to activity and get you back to optimal performance.

ACL Rehabilitation
An ACL tear is a traumatic injury — not just because it’s severe, but because of what it takes to rehab from the injury. Fortunately, the WPI has one of Wisconsin’s most comprehensive ACL rehab programs, a data-backed regimen that takes you from surgery to a full return to activity.
Our equipment measures strength and range of motion and tracks it across the entire rehab process. WPI’s physical therapists balance your desire to get back to activity with the need to take a measured approach, so you don’t put unnecessary stress on your knee. Finally, we consider the whole body. We correct overcompensation and make sure your body is strong and evenly balanced.
It’s not just about doing the work – it’s about doing the right work the right way, measuring the progress, and seeing the results.
Post-Surgery
Coming off surgery, you want to get back to doing what you love as soon as you can. We understand, so we create a personalized program to help you do just that – at a pace that’s right for you, with exercises to help you meet your goals. In addition, we measure your progress, so you can see improvement and be motivated to do more. At the Wisconsin Performance Institute, we take your post-surgery rehabilitation to another level. It’s not just rehabilitation; it’s reinvention.
